I am an assistant professor of computer science and an IBM Quantum Research Chair at the Université de Sherbrooke. I am a member of the CS Theory group as well as the Institut quantique. My research focuses on the interplay between quantum computing, complexity theory, and quantum many-body physics.
I am currently seeking motivated and talented individuals to join my research group as postdoctoral researchers and graduate students. For more information, please visit Open Positions.

I am seeking motivated and talented individuals to join my research group as postdoctoral researchers and graduate students. My current research focuses on three main areas of interest:
Prospective candidates with a strong interest and background in these areas are encouraged to apply.
Given the interdisciplinary nature of our work, candidates with PhDs from a broad range of related fields are encouraged to apply.
Application Materials:
Please send the above documents with “Postdoc Application” as the subject line.
Given the interdisciplinary nature of our work, students with a strong background in one or more of the three core disciplines––physics, computer science, or math––are encouraged to apply. While prior knowledge of quantum computing is certainly a plus, it’s not a strict requirement. Experience or knowledge in areas like algorithms, theory of computation, numerical methods and analysis, quantum physics, and solid coding skills are highly desirable.
To apply, please send the following documents:
